One-shot is a mid pre-hardmode boss, that you can summon by unfreezing one of three ice cubes with Fire Salts at Stranded ship or with Snow Beacon in Snow biome. But you can't craft the summoning item untill you get Amplifier, which drops from him, so you must fight him first at the Stranded ship. If you couldn't defeat him, his ice cube will spawn again, and will only dissappear after first victorious battle.
